Grant Park was incredible. The past almost two years have been incredible. Who would have thought that I would be at the forefront of such a historic experience?! Seriously. The only thing historic that I’ve ever been a part of is the launch of Juicy Couture. I was one of the first to buy a pair of sweats.

I was there when Obama said he was going to be president in Springfield, Illinois in February 2007. And I was there when he won the Democratic nomination in August 2008. And I was there once again when he won the presidency in October 2008.

I really felt part of politics for the first time in my life. I learned firsthand that all great leaders need great supporters. I was a great Barack Obama supporter. I wonder if he’ll personally thank me?
