Citizen Kate

Hi! I’m Citizen Kate Soglin. And I went on the campaign trail to make the best choice for the next president of the United States.

Politics are pretty complicated. So I elected

myself to uncover the process, and make it easy

for regular people, like me, to understand. I

spoke with Mike Gravel, Bob Barr,

Cynthia McKinney, John Edwards, and Abraham

Lincoln.  Yeah. I thought he was dead too.

Watch my video blog as I find out what it takes

to be a great leader, and decide who to vote for. You

don’t need to be a pundit to cover politics. You

just need to look cute, ask questions and have a

camera to record stuff.

what makes a great leader?

The Beachwood Reporter features me as the voice of politics.

Kate recalls her key Obama moments on the campaign trail.

Kate shares some campaign trail highlights and press, as she stalked Obama and discovered the key to politics: the people.

My vote was up for grabs. There are so many party choices: Democrat, Republican, Green, Libertarian, Labor, Light, Moderate, Natural, Reform, Prohibition, Socialist, Socialist Equality, Socialist Labor, Socialist Workers, U.S. Marijuana, Peace and Freedom, and more. The choice was super tough!

Yes We Can! We did it. Voting for Obama is like that buying that first prom dress that you tried on. You thought, “I can’t get the first one. I need to shop around.” But you found no dress compares to your first. I was excited to be in Springfield, Denver, Grant Park, and DC at the inauguration. It’s amazing that I haven’t hugged Barack yet. Someday.
